1. Therapeutic Oversight
1.1. Is involved in indication-specific strategy planning and implementation across the assigned therapeutic area.
1.2. Compiles and delivers presentations on lessons learned.
1.3. Mentors, trains, and assists department staff in developed strategies and best practices within their assigned therapeutic area.
1.4. Participates in external Executive Oversight Meetings.
1.5. Joins the Core Project Team within the designated therapeutic area to advise on the therapeutic strategy.
1.6. Participates in the evaluation and selection of investigators and sites.
1.7. Participates in investigator meetings and various team meetings.
1.8. Identifies key project-level risks and escalates to senior management.
1.9. Reviews essential study documents.
1.10. Assesses performance of team members during bid defenses, and provides feedback.
1.11. Attends and follows up on internal and external study audits.
1.12. Attends conferences in the therapeutic area, and reviews supporting literature.
2. Business Development
2.1. Makes recommendations for bidding based on review of feasibility evaluations and RFPs.
2.2. Assists and mentors the bid team in the bid defense processes and coaches team in strategy and key therapeutic area elements, takes part in bid defense preparation, and attends bid defense meetings.
2.3. Contributes to the development of PSI global therapeutic strategy in line with PSIs indication-specific portfolio.
2.4. Assists in the development and maintenance of indication-specific KOL and specialist network.
2.5. Builds working relationships and maintains communication with all business stakeholders.
