As our first Chief Revenue Officer, you will architect and execute the revenue strategy that propels Kenz from early traction to market leadership. You'll build and lead high-performing sales, marketing, and customer success teams across multiple geographies, with initial focus on Saudi Arabia and UAE markets. This role is critical to achieving our ambitious growth targets of $12M ARR by Year 3 and $40M+ ARR by Year 5.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy across direct sales, self-service, and partnership channels
- Create and execute a regional expansion playbook, starting with KSA dominance and expanding to UAE and broader MENA
- Build and optimize the full customer journey from acquisition through expansion
- Establish pricing strategy and packaging across our Silver/Gold/Platinum tiers
Team Building & Leadership
- Recruit, develop and lead high-performing sales, marketing, and customer success teams
- Scale the revenue organization from ~5 to 50+ professionals over 3-4 years
- Establish sales methodologies, training programs, and career development paths
- Foster a performance-driven culture balanced with our mission-driven values
Go-to-Market Excellence
- Refine our value proposition and positioning for different market segments (recruiting agencies, SMBs, enterprises)
- Build repeatable, measurable sales processes with emphasis on efficiency and predictability
- Develop strategies to accelerate conversion from our "first hire free" trial model
- Create a strategic account program for enterprise clients with complex sales cycles
Market & Customer Insights
- Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform product and pricing decisions
- Maintain deep understanding of competitive landscape and differentiation strategies
- Partner with Product to ensure roadmap aligns with market demand and customer needs
- Identify emerging market opportunities and evaluate new revenue streams
Performance & Operations
- Establish and track key metrics including ARR, CAC, LTV, and sales productivity
- Optimize unit economics to achieve CAC payback under 12 months
- Forecast revenue accurately for financial planning and investor relations
- Design and manage compensation plans that drive desired behaviors and results
