-Operate, inspect, and test production line machinery. Adjust controls to regulate operations when starting or stopping machines, and observe mechanical performance to ensure efficiency.
-Detect issues and diagnose machine malfunctions promptly.
-Make necessary adjustments to ensure products meet specifications.
-Remove all non-conforming products for further investigation and corrective action.
-Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production line machinery, including dismantling machines, removing parts for repair, and reassembling equipment upon completion of maintenance, or report repair needs to supervisors.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area: clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery; clean machines and components using appropriate solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other cleaning tools.
-Install and perform equipment changeovers, including replacing or adjusting machine parts and attachments according to production specifications (e.g., changing from one product size to another).
-Collaborate with team members to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment. Communicate relevant information clearly to operators across different shifts.
