Job Purpose:
To lead and manage the sales operations of a designated unit within the Sales & Distribution entity. The role is responsible for achieving sales targets, developing the team, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring strong in-market execution and coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned unit.
- Monitor sales performance, identify gaps, and implement action plans.
- Conduct regular sales reviews and lead daily team briefings.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the sales team to drive performance and efficiency.
- Ensure team adherence to sales processes, policies, and route coverage plans.
- Conduct market visits with sales representatives to evaluate execution and provide support.
- Expand market share through effective territory management and customer acquisition.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and trade partners.
- Ensure optimal product visibility, availability, and placement.
- Oversee the execution of sales promotions, pricing initiatives, and trade programs.
- Coordinate closely with logistics, warehousing, and finance for smooth order fulfillment and collections.
- Manage stock levels, returns, and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Provide accurate and timely sales reports and market insights.
- Track competitor activities and market trends to adjust strategies when needed.
