The Mechanical Engineer will oversee the design, development, and market readiness of Alterba’s waste
management technologies. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, market
understanding, and project coordination skills. The Lead will ensure alignment across R&D, product
design, business development, funding applications, and advisory, translating high-level strategy into
actionable workstreams and tangible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic and Coordination
- Translate strategic priorities into technical work plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor progress across multiple ongoing projects to ensure milestones are achieved.
Product & Technical
- Design, research, and develop waste management products.
- Prepare drawings, calculation notes, and other technical documentation.
- Lead R&D by consolidating inputs from engineers, partners, and field data.
Documentation & Reporting
- Develop structured frameworks such as evaluation matrices, CAPEX/OPEX models, and value
- chains.
- Ensure consistency across technical documentation, proposals, and investor communications.
- Maintain project archives and oversee the organization of Alterba’s knowledge base.
