The Tour Guide is responsible for delivering engaging, accurate, and memorable guided experiences for visitors. This role represents the destination and organization on the ground, ensuring guests feel welcomed, informed, and safe while experiencing the site鈥檚 cultural, historical, and experiential offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct guided tours according to approved routes, scripts, and schedules.
- Deliver accurate information about the site鈥檚 history, culture, stories, and significance.
- Adapt tour delivery to different audience types (families, VIPs, school groups, international visitors, etc.).
- Engage visitors through storytelling, interaction, and clear communication.
- Ensure guest safety and follow all operational, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Manage group movement, timing, and crowd flow professionally.
- Handle visitor questions confidently and accurately; escalate unclear inquiries when necessary.
- Represent the organization鈥檚 values, image, and service standards at all times.
- Coordinate with operations, security, and guest services teams as required.
- Report incidents, feedback, or operational issues to supervisors.
- Maintain personal appearance and conduct according to brand and professional standards.
