We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Architect to define, design, and implement enterprise-wide quality engineering frameworks across cloud-native and platform-based products. This role will drive automation architecture, reliability strategy, and quality governance across distributed systems.The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in automation frameworks, cloud validation, and scalable testing architecture.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Architecture & Strategy- Define enterprise test architecture and automation strategy.
- Establish standardized frameworks for UI, API, integration, and performance testing.
- Drive shift-left quality practices and test-driven engineering.
- Design quality gates and release readiness criteria.
Automation Framework Design- Architect reusable, scalable test automation frameworks.
- Lead CI/CD integration of automated test suites.
- Improve automation reliability, execution speed, and coverage.
- Implement API-first and microservices-based test strategies.
Cloud & Platform Validation- Design validation frameworks for AWS, Azure, and GCP deployments.
- Lead performance, scalability, and resiliency testing.
- Define quality standards for containerized and Kubernetes environments.
- Partner with DevOps/SRE teams for observability-driven validation.
Governance & Metrics- Establish quality KPIs and dashboards.
- Drive defect prevention and root cause frameworks.
- Improve release stability and reduce production incidents.
- Align quality metrics with engineering and business outcomes.
Technical Leadership- Mentor senior QA engineers and automation leads.
- Influence product architecture from a quality perspective.
- Conduct architectural reviews and quality assessments.
- Collaborate with global engineering stakeholders.
Required Qualifications- 12–15+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Architecture roles.
- Strong programming expertise in Java and/or Python.
- Extensive hands-on experience with:
- Test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- API automation tools including REST Assured or similar frameworks
- CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Performance testing tools like JMeter or k6
- Containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and microservices-based environments.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in enterprise cloud migration validation.
- Exposure to observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Knowledge of security and compliance testing.
- Experience working in global delivery models.
