We鈥檙e looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Private Markets Funds legal team, supporting the growth and diversification of our Luxembourg鈥慸omiciled private markets fund range. As part of a collaborative and high鈥慽mpact legal function, you鈥檒l help deliver legal, regulatory and governance support across a broad spectrum of private markets products, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. This is an excellent opportunity to develop deep expertise in a fast鈥慻rowing area while contributing to strategic initiatives across the organisation.
What you鈥檒l be doing:
- Delivering legal support across the full lifecycle of AIFs, unregulated collective investment schemes, joint ventures and partnership structures
- Assisting with launching new funds and new fund umbrellas across private markets infrastructure, private credit and venture capital asset classes
- Drafting, negotiating and updating fund documentation, and engaging with fund service providers
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and shaping strategic responses for the business
- Managing relationships with external counsel and overseeing aspects of the legal budget
- Providing legal risk assessments and advising internal teams and fund boards on effective mitigation strategies
- Supporting regulatory change projects and advising on relevant governance requirements
- Providing governance support and advising boards on governance matters
