We鈥檙e looking for an Investment Specialist to play a key role in supporting the governance of our Master Trust and Independent Governance Committee (IGC). You鈥檒l help ensure strong investment oversight, trusted decision鈥憁aking and excellent outcomes for members. Working closely with Trustees, senior stakeholders and internal experts, you鈥檒l contribute to a robust, forward鈥憀ooking investment strategy that reflects market developments, regulatory requirements and responsible investment priorities.
What you鈥檒l be doing:
- Supporting the Mastertrust Board and Investment Committee with investment matters and coordinating input from internal teams and external advisers
- Liaising with DC investment, strategy and client teams to shape and review the scheme鈥檚 investment proposition
- Preparing, drafting and collating papers, agendas and materials for Trustee and Committee meetings
- Presenting market insights, risks, opportunities and governance considerations to support Trustee decision鈥憁aking
- Drafting, maintaining and updating investment governance policies, Statements of Investment Principles and Implementation Statements
- Analysing scheme data to contribute to Value for Member assessments, Chair鈥檚 Statements and IGC reporting
- Collaborating with the Stewardship team on voting policies, stewardship activity and climate鈥憆elated reporting, including TCFD
- Managing relationships with external advisers and supporting broader Mastertrust activities such as regulatory documents, member engagement and service provider reviews
