Summary
Carries out basic immunoassay procedures and prepares bulk biological formulations for kit components. Also follows protocols in protein chemistry and bioanalytical procedures for in-process testing. Must have a basic working knowledge of immunological assay and protein physical methods (desalting, solutions preparation, concentration determination, and conjugation steps). Duties include manufacturing of immunochemical based components for various kits (multiplex and other), in-process QC testing, and critical dispensing. Performs all tasks as defined by MMP (Master Manufacturing Protocols), and conducts all activities following guidelines prescribed by current good manufacturing practices (cGMP鈥檚).

Education and/or experience
Two or Four-year degree in the Life Sciences. Two to three years experience in related field preferred.
Language and Communication Skills
Ability to write reports and maintain documents that conform to GMP guidelines, and to effectively present information and coordinate activities within the department.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as probabilities, statistical analysis fractions, percentages, ratios and general chemistry formulas.
Safety Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risk of low-level radiation and biohazardous materials. This position must successfully complete the Company鈥檚 Radiation Protection Training Program and Biohazardous Materials handling.
