Duration: 10 months + (with possible extension)

Position OverviewĀ
The IT Change Coordinator supports the Change Management function reporting to the Change Manager in the establishment and oversight of sound, repeatable change management processes. The primary functions of this position are to:Ā
⢠Assist in the implementation of and adherence to change management systems and processes that meet IT and business change management objectivesĀ
⢠Ensure that modifications to IT production systems, applications and databases are consistently made in a planned and systematic manner.Ā
ResponsibilitiesĀ
⢠Assists in the review of change requests to ensure they meet the established completion criteria and processesĀ
⢠Assists in the review of schedule of changes to identify time, conflicts, and risks associated with requested changesĀ
⢠Ensures all production related changes have been properly identified, entered into the Change Control system, relayed to CAB/ECAB and connected to change tickets and change notifications.Ā
⢠Co-chairs meetings that review changes, such as change advisory boards (CABs), emergency change Advisory Board (ECAB)Ā
⢠Maintains procedures, polices and other documents relating to Change ManagementĀ
⢠Ensures defined change management processes are adhered to and where appropriate implements options to address non-conformance.Ā
⢠Recommends process enhancements and continuous improvement opportunities that are based on ITIL best practices and/or industry standardsĀ
⢠Oversees all IT Infrastructure and Application Change Management activities including new business planning, Change Advisory Board (CAB), the production of management information, Request For Changes (RFCs) and change schedulesĀ
⢠Publishes KPIs and metricsĀ
RequirementsĀ
⢠Bachelorās DegreeĀ
⢠ITIL Foundation CertificationĀ
⢠Two plus yearsā experience working in a Change Control or Change Management role within several IT domainsĀ
⢠A solid understanding of change management principles and methodologiesĀ
⢠Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.Ā
⢠Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.Ā
⢠Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
⢠Strong problem-solving skillsĀ
⢠Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
