Our client is looking to hire Principal Application Administrator.
Responsibilities:
• Researches industry best practices and introduces these best practices to the OC system administration activities on client’s sponsored clinical trials.
• Partners with the client’s IT organization to perform patches and upgrades to the OC/RDC system or other systems that interface with OC/RDC.
• Modifies OC system administration processes, conventions and standards based on the demands of new protocols, tools or resource models.
• Trains and mentors those working on client’s clinical trials on the process as needed.
• Manages the documentation (SOP, WI) that defines and document the OC system administration process for client.
• Leads or consults on process improvement initiatives, special initiatives, and improvement projects benefiting or impacting OC/RDC system administration.
• Implements the security for the OC/RDC platform consistent with GCP and industry best practices.
• Measures compliance with the client’s OC system administration standards and conventions.
Required :
• Technical/Software Skills: Good understanding of user account security.
• Expertise with Oracle Clinical or other clinical data management software.
• General software skills: Lotus Notes, MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project.
• Knowledge of GCP and other regulations
• Ability to manage multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
• Proven ability to build relationships and manage expectations with key data management service providers who represent single or multiple functions.
• Internal customer management, influence of peers, team effectiveness and enhancement, timeline management, proactive problem solving ability, resource planning, ability to develop trust, shared goals and values.
• Collaborative, with negotiation skills, conceptual thinking, systems process thinking, accountability to deliverables milestones, conflict resolution (internal and external).
• Must have excellent oral and written communication / presentation / negotiation skills.
• The candidate should be detail oriented, identify issues and assist in problem solving in a timely manner.
• Ability to handle multiple (changing) priorities under tight timelines.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
• BS/BA or equivalent in a discipline related to Clinical Data Management Systems.
