SUMMARY:
Laboratories specializes in developing Biologics to treat a variety of diseases, including cancers, autoimmune disorders, pain, and metabolic diseases. Seeking to hire a highly motivated and creative T cell expert with hands-on experience with preclinical autoimmune in vivo models to join the Immunology and Metabolism group.
Responsibilities:
• Perform research in small rodent disease models including syngeneic tumors and NOD autoimmune diabetes.
• Perform cell culture techniques.
• Perform meticulous record keeping and attend group meetings.
• Good communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, deliver high quality results and manage time effectively.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Hands on experience and proficiency in rodent handling, necropsy and administering drugs through various routes. Small animal surgery is a plus.
• Knowledge of IACUC procedures and regulation.
• Hands on experience in general lab aseptic techniques, cell handling and maintenance and tissue culture.
• Strong motivation with a dedicated work ethic.
• Previous training or experience in immunology, oncology or drug development is a plus.
PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
