Lab Assistant

Job Summary:

·The primary purpose of this position is to support the test activities of the product Reliability Test Lab with particular focus in the areas of Chemical Compatibility of thermoplastic polymers.

·This position requires direct involvement in the testing of components and assemblies to identify chemical germicides compatible with materials used to construct system components and provide objective evidence of system safety and effectiveness following exposure to germicides for durations consistent with program service life expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

·Work under supervision of engineers and technicians and receive guidance in the use of standard company test procedures in the area of chemical compatibility.

· Perform functional and safety verification testing.

· Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in test method to improve efficiency.

·Communicate test status and results to supervisor through written and direct contact.
