Transmission CAD Designer

Required:

·Minimum 4 year experience in power generation and electrical utility experience and knowledge of electrical transmission lines

·Experience in working on plan and profile, hardware assembly drawings, steel reinforcement drawings, structure foundation drawings for high voltage transmission lines

·Must be proficient in both AutoCAD or Microstation

·Must be able to work with raster/tiff image files in CAD

·Must be familiar with structural steel and connection detail design

·Must be familiar with UG transmission line design and layout

·Must be familiar with working in the coordinate system in CAD

·Must be knowledgeable with access road grading design

Clear and concise writing and verbal communications skills.

Must have a valid driver’s license

Familiarity with utility best practices, IEEE, ASME, NESC and NEMA Standards.
