Job Type: 1 Year Contract position
Work Schedule: Part-Time: 3 days/week
Timings: 8am to 5 pm
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Provide nursing assessment and recommendations to Members related to the illness or injury resulting in an initial determination of occupational versus non-occupational mechanism of injury or illness.
- Document and maintain records related to the treatment of Members in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Administration.
- Interact with Workers' Compensation, Safety, and the Company Physician to facilitate processing of work-related illnesses or injuries.
- Participate in Health and Safety programs.
- Perform regulatory required medical surveillance as indicated by current Occupational Health and Safety Administration standards.
- Respond to medical emergencies.
- Provide follow-up nursing care of Members.
