Director - Finance Transformation

Our Finance Transformation team are trusted advisors to CFOs and their Finance teams supporting them to meet the challenges of a complex and rapidly evolving business environment. We help them navigate change to deliver efficiency, insight and value to their businesses. Our diverse and multidisciplinary team brings together skill sets across Finance.

The role we specifically require is within the Finance Transformation service offering. Finance Transformation is a strategic assessment of an organisation’s finance operating model including systems, processes, people and operations, aimed at increasing efficiency and effectiveness, enhancing decision-making, and aligning financial functions with broader business objectives using digital technologies and other improvements.

Your Opportunity:

With continued growth and strong pipeline, we are now seeking a Director to join our team, with a focus to managing Finance Transformation engagements across ERP and EPM solutions covering planning, budgeting and forecasting, reporting (Performance and Financial), data analytics and insights, and integration of AI in Finance. Alongside delivering exceptional client outcomes, you will drive business development activities by building strong relationships and identifying new opportunities.

You will work with some of the country’s leading clients as well as the wider national team, in a positive, collaborative and team focused environment. This role is ideally suited to candidates who have prior finance transformation experience as well as experience leading cross-functional teams ideally in a Consulting environment or in a transformation capacity, and who are seeking an opportunity to broaden their experience working with different clients, as well as undertaking challenging and rewarding work harnessing their leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Your Experience

• Recent experience managing in areas of finance operations, shared services, financial planning & analysis, and accounting ideally in a consulting environment or in a transformation program.
• Understanding of leading practice across the finance operating model (e.g. in relation to processes and controls, systems, service delivery model) and deep understanding of process dependencies across other functional areas (for example sourcing, human resources etc)
• Ability to provide strategic insights and support decision making across core finance operating mode
• Financial and management reporting experience to support reporting strategy
• Deep understanding of how a system implementation project is delivered (e.g. phases, core teams, standard deliverables)
• Advanced ERP / EPM / Cloud technology experience through previous engagements or industry experience (e.g. Oracle. Microsoft, SAP)
• Ability to articulate functional business requirements to technical requirements and facilitate solution design and development
• Experience delivering end to end EPM engagements including technical build and deployment
