- Public Speaking & Training: MARC delivers biannual financial reporting updates to our clients across multiple offices; you will play a key role in these sessions, providing an excellent platform to enhance your public speaking and presentation skills.
- Transaction & structuring support: Address accounting implications for complex transactions, including acquisitions, restructures, and share-based payments.
- Accounting policy development: Assist clients in preparing clear, compliant accounting policies and manuals tailored to their organisation.
- Opportunities for client secondments: allowing you to work directly within client teams and gain practical, in鈥慼ouse exposure to complex financial reporting and technical accounting challenges.
- Financial statement compilation: Oversee the compilation of complex financial statements and provide necessary accounting advisory support.
What You Bring
- Technical Background: A strong background in technical accounting advisory is preferred; while audit experience is valued, we are specifically looking for candidates who enjoy the advisory and problem-solving side of accounting standards.
- AASB/IFRS Expertise: A core understanding and ability to interpret and apply complex AASB and IFRS standards.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in technical accounting advisory within a Big4 firm.
- Commercial Mindset: Combining deep AASB/IFRS expertise with practical commercial experience to provide fit-for-purpose guidance.
- Entrepreneurial Drive: A proactive approach with interest in contributing to team growth and capability building.
- Qualifications: CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent).
