The Senior Manager of Humanities (PKโ12) drives the vision, implementation, and support of high-quality ELA and social studies instruction across the region. This leader ensures alignment with standards, instructional priorities, and student achievement goals while partnering with schools, coaching teachers, and leading curriculum initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Leadership
Lead the design and support of ELA and Humanities instruction (CKLA Skills, Fishtank, Novel Studies, etc.)
Support teachers and leaders in curriculum internalization and execution
Coach leaders on effective instructional practices and data-driven planning
Professional Development
Lead monthly PD for teachers and leaders across grade bands
Build systems that support continuous improvement in literacy instruction
Curriculum & Assessment
Ensure alignment to standards, proficiency scales, and regional assessments
Track KPIs and use data to drive instructional decisions
Collaboration & Communication
Align with regional academic and school-based teams
Communicate goals, updates, and priorities clearly to multiple stakeholders
