You will play a key role within the Global Payments team, ensuring all business-as-usual payment transactions are authorized accurately and within strict deadlines. You will maintain strong communication across Workflow, Client Services, and global teams, while supporting operational controls, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and a collaborative mindset to support smooth cross-departmental operations.
What you will do
- You will authorize payment transactions accurately and within assigned deadlines, reviewing payment packs thoroughly and maintaining clear communication with the Workflow Manager regarding progress or issues
- You will manage reconciliations and confirmations with relevant signatories, ensuring all associated payment administration is completed to required standards
- You will manage your assigned workload effectively, responding to queries in a timely manner, conducting detailed investigations where required, and supporting Level 2 Workflow Management and Level 4 cover during peak periods
- You will maintain accurate reporting by inputting daily payment statistics, assisting in error reporting, identifying operational risks, and proposing appropriate remedial actions within required timeframes
- You will support the wider team by providing training and guidance to junior members, assisting with system updates (including Investran), driving process improvements, and contributing to team and departmental projects
