We are looking for a technically curious and motivated engineer who wants to grow in the DevOps and modern IT operations space. This is not a pure DevOps automation role - instead, it combines hands‑on system configuration, deployment oversight, troubleshooting, and working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of software and infrastructure.
If you enjoy solving problems, working with Linux and open‑source tools, taking responsibility for systems that operate in real industrial environments, this role will fit you well.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and configure hardware and virtualized environments (Proxmox, VMs, required software) before deployment to wind farms, and integrate systems remotely once installed on-site.
- Execute deployment procedures, run functional tests, verify communication with local systems, and ensure the environment is ready for production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to containers (Docker, docker-compose), virtual machines, microservices, and SCADA components.
- Document work in ticketing and knowledge systems, and collaborate with internal teams, including 3rd‑level support, to maintain service quality.
- Provide feedback for continuous improvement of tools and processes, and support operations during the initial production phase.
You will work with:
- Linux / Open Source (primary environment)
- Docker & docker-compose
- Proxmox (virtualization)
- Git
- MinIO (S3-compatible storage)
- Cumulocity Edge, MongoDB
- Various scripting tools (Ansible, etc.) — mostly using, not creating
- PowerShell (occasionally, executed from Linux)
- Azure DevOps (code repository)
