Project Manager + JLPT

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, to closure
• Own end-to-end project planning, including scope definition, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Handle end-to-end resourcing: resource planning, allocation, utilization tracking, and coordination across teams
• Manage end-to-end budgeting: cost estimation, budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Act as the primary point of contact between Japanese clients and internal teams
• Communicate, translate, and interpret business and technical requirements (Japanese ↔ English)
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risk logs, and documentation
• Track project progress, dependencies, risks, and issues; ensure timely and high-quality delivery
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, UI/UX, DevOps, and operations
• Conduct client meetings, reviews, and progress updates in Japanese
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, scope, timelines, and budget commitments
• Proactively resolve issues and escalate risks to stakeholders when required
• Apply appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) based on project needs.
