Duties for this position will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Repair critical electrical equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and complete projects such as mechanical and electrical hardware and software upgrades.
- Repair or replace control devices such as switches, proximity sensors, push buttons, contactors, motor starts, thermocouples etc. as needed.
- Responsible for making PLC program changes, installations or updates to maintain proper operations
- Detecting, troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in all types of equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical functions.
- Read and interpret drawings for conveyors, machines and building.
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including conveyors and/or cranes.
- Detect and troubleshoot issues related to facilities maintenance, if required.
- Practice good housekeeping and time management in the performance of daily duties.
- Comply with the Electrical Safety Authority.
- Comply with all legislated and company health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and programs, including lockout/tagout.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and in a team structure as the project requires.
