Pay Rate: $28.50 per hour.
(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)
- Work from blueprints/schematics to perform maintenance/repair or install equipment.
- Report (in writing) materials and replacement parts needed for jobs; prepare and maintain maintenance invoices as required.
- Direct/instruct subordinate employees still in training (i.e., Brood Maintenance Mechanics, Classes B and C).
- Wire and install motors, switches, fuses, lighting, relays and control device.
- Determine proper size and specifications of plumbing pipe, fittings, valves, etc., for both water and gas.
- Inspect and perform preventative maintenance repairs/corrections on pumps, motors, foggers, heaters, feed systems, vaporizers, injectors, etc.
- Install, connect, adjust, and calibrate (i.e., temperature, flow, pressure, etc.) pneumatic gauges, meters, etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair boilers.
- General cleaning and/or assisting other crews if required; and Maintaining safety, housekeeping, and sanitation and disease control requirements while performing job duties.
