Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. BSN preferred. Minimum of one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care specialty nursing. BLS (current upon hire) and maintain certification throughout employment Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility. Current state nursing license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas. L&D: a. NRP within 6 months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment. b. ACLS within 12 months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment. c Intermediate fetal monitoring (AWHONN) within 6 months of hire and must maintain throughout employment. d. Advanced fetal monitoring (AWHONN) preferred e. HROB โ Advanced fetal monitoring (AWHONN) required and must maintain while active on the HROB team. Mother/Baby: a. NRP within 6 months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment. b. STABLE within 12 months of hire does not have to be maintained. c. AP Nurses AWHONN first available class after 6 months of hire and maintain throughout employment.
