Job Description

 Responsible for direction of patient care activities in the Emergency Department. Manages staff in the Emergency Department, provides management of operational and nursing activities. Consults with staff, physicians and the Nurse Executive on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Clients served are predominately adults and geriatrics, but adolescents/pediatrics and neonate/infants will occasionally be treated.

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

ACLS, BLS, PALS TNCC 

TEXAS REGISTERED NURSE 

IDEAL CANDIDATE

REGISTERED NURSE WITH PROVEN LEADERSHIP SKILLS. A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS OF EMERGENCY SERVICES EXPERIENCE. AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF NURSING MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
