As a Cost & Financial Project Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring financial transparency, accuracy, and efficiency across a diverse project portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and support strategic decision-making through high-quality financial analysis, forecasting, and cost management.
Financial Control & Reporting
- Monitor and control project and portfolio costs, including forecasts, commitments, and actuals.
- Deliver accurate financial reporting, including variance analysis and rolling forecasts.
- Validate cost estimates and ensure financial integrity across all projects.
- Maintain and further develop financial dashboards, trackers, and standardized reporting tools.
- Provide YTD/YTG forecasts and portfolio‑level financial insights.
- Support investment decisions through ad-hoc financial analyses, business cases, and presentations.
Cost Management & Project Support
- Conduct quality management, analysis, and creation of KPIs across projects in various industries.
- Prepare cost estimates, calculations, and model-based cost forecasts.
- Lead cost-related topics in large-scale projects and orchestrate alignment among all involved parties.
- Manage invoice processing and reconciliation of CARs vs. actual spend.
- Optimize processes and develop improved methods for model-based cost estimation (RTS/URS).
- Prepare projections, forecasts, and estimation of project fees in line with local standards and regulations.
- Provide professional support in customer acquisition and tender processes within the field of cost management.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a financial partner to Finance, Real Estate, PM, PMO, and Procurement teams.
- Drive standardization, continuous improvement, and transparency in financial processes and controls.
