This role supports our transition towards An Electric Britain by offering expert guidance and trusted oversight to maintain high standards of environmental performance. Youâll help strengthen processes that protect people and the environment during operations, decommissioning and new build projects.
In this role, you can be based anywhere in the UK, though ideally you can work from or routinely travel to our #Gloucester office. Youâll also travel on a nonâroutine basis to our sites and service providers, with partâtime or flexible working options available.

Weâre looking for an Environment Officer â Radioactive Waste Specialist who brings reliable judgement, strong analytical skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders. Do you offerâŚ?
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
Pay, Benefits and Culture
We are offering a starting salary of between ÂŁ64,261 and ÂŁ99,929, with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Nuclear Generation Company Agreement. The starting salary for the appointment will be dependent on your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.
