Class 1 Driver

About the Job

You’ll be driving modern Volvo trucks (73/23 plates) with refrigerated and multi‑temp trailers, transporting chilled products such as cheese, juice, and yoghurts. The role includes RDC deliveries and drop‑and‑swap collections, with some self‑tipping required, mainly on early morning shifts.

Shifts and Salary:

• 5ON 3OFF - Days and Night start windows available - £41,377.32 basic per annum - Please be advised, this role will include planned and unplanned Night outs. 

Shift Premiums as below:

• Start times available between 12:00 – 19:59 – Shift premium of £10 per shift
• Start times available between 20:00 – 03:59 - Shift premium of £15 per shift

Overtime (working an extra shift outside of your agreed shift pattern)

• Monday to Friday - £16.90 per hour.
• Saturday - £20.09 per hour.
• Sunday - £22.84 per hour.
