Controls Engineer II

As a Controls Engineer II at BEUMER Group, you will play a pivotal role in designing and programming machine controls for cutting-edge high speed sortation systems that power the e-commerce industry. This hands-on position requires technical excellence, organizational skills, and strong communication abilities to ensure seamless automation and efficiency in high-speed fulfillment operations.

Responsibilities:

• Translate customer requirements into programmatic designs for BEUMER sorters.
• Design and program operator panels and HMI systems for intuitive user interaction.
• Prepare and test PLC hardware for projects, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with electrical engineering to define I/O networks and addressing.
• Work with PC software developers to integrate machine control systems.
• Conduct in-house emulation-based testing at BEUMER offices to validate system performance.
• Participate in on-site commissioning, ensuring smooth deployment.
• Create and maintain documentation to optimize workflow and improve processes.
• Provide training materials to support operational excellence.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system capabilities

Compensation range: $101,000.00 - $111,000.00 Annually 

The posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position. Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors.
