General Responsibility
The CITIS Specialist is responsible for addressing tasks pertaining to PCs, Servers, Networks, IT Hardware Installations, Cyber Security, and associated support tasks, as well as participating in parts of or the total project and product from analysis to test and commissioning of the system.
Primary Responsibilities
- Meet with customers, after sale or during sale for retrofits, to analyze business requirements and produce design documents.
- Set-up and maintain the PCs, Servers, and Network within new and existing development, test, and production environments
- Assisting in the setup of VPN and/or remote access solutions to equipment in the office and on-site
- Calculating Hardware prices and hours used for the configuration and installation of PCs, Servers, and Networks
- Supporting the purchasing process for PCs, Servers, Network Devices, and other similar equipment on behalf of the company
- Configuring and setting up third party software on PCs, Servers, and other similar devices
- Updating server and PC hardware, and operating systems, for both new and existing customer systems
- Converting systems based on physical servers and/or PC hardware to virtualized environments
- Converting PC setups to thin-client environments
- Applying software patches and Windows OS patches
- Creating and maintaining internal & external technical documentation for the PCs, Servers, and Networks we are responsible for
- Support the development of test plans, and drive troubleshooting efforts, for quality control prior to commissioning
- Testing configured hardware and installed 3rd part software, and resolving any identified performance concerns
- Troubleshooting on calls or in person with customers, suppliers, and internal software teams
- Participating in the remote and on-site installation and testing of PCs, Servers, and Network
- Managing topics and processes related to Cyber Security
- Provide ongoing status updates, planning input, and risk assessments for involved projects
- Working internationally with CITIS Teams in different countries and timezones, including calls & trips for training and collaboration
- Participating in customer meetings
- Delivering high-end quality hardware solutions for both internal and external projects
- Supporting and troubleshooting running systems (remote or on site)
- Participating in Level 2 hotline support within normal business hours
- Contributing to Sales support by making analysis, design, specifications, and estimations
- Build up technical knowledge including knowledge about BEUMER Software & IT products and processes
- Keep up-to-date with latest relevant technologies
- Support company to advance in technologies and tools used within your role
- Think out of the box and beyond own area of responsibility
- Solidly analyze, guide, and set direction on the overall technical choices

Compensation range: $73,500.00 - $83,500.00 annually
The posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position. Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors.
