The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and budgeting multiple projects from initiation to completion. This includes organizing schedules, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role often involves collaboration with leadership teams, dispatch, estimators, and clients to deliver projects efficiently and safely for the specified region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project plans with milestones and resource assignments.
- Provide necessary program direction for planning, organizing, developing, and integrating projects across multiple functional areas.
- Assigning schedules, supplies and equipment to staff members
- Equipment inventory cycles for all field service vehicles
- An ability to communicate with the traveling public, co-workers, contractors, and inspectors clearly and confidently.
- Traveling to customer sites and evaluating Traffic Control Supervisors and Flaggers
- Maintaining all rules, safety standards and responsibilities
- Submitting necessary reports to all stakeholders (senior leadership, HR, dispatch, billing)
- Manage project staff according to the established policies and practices of the organization.
- Lead project meetings, prepare meeting agenda and minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Maintain files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
- Evaluate and assess project results and provide recommendations for future improvement.
