The role will be at Associate level. It will support project leads by providing financial advisory expertise in the origination, development, and due diligence of sustainability-linked projects across a range of sectors, including energy, mobility, waste, and the circular economy.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project or infrastructure finance. Exposure to project finance, debt instruments, public financial management (PFM), treasury operations, and financial structuring is considered highly advantageous, though not essential. A focus on sustainability is not a prerequisite. The candidate will work closely with Vice Presidents, Managing Directors, a Project Manager, and a team of analysts. A strong willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic, climate-focused organisation is crucial.
Responsibilities
· Contribute to the identification of innovative and relevant financial instruments to enable the successful financing of projects across multiple subsectors and parts of the capital structure
· Support financial risk analysis and provide recommendations and potential mitigants
· Manage the due diligence process, including the development and review of financial models
· Address unexpected challenges to help deliver successful outcomes
· Collaborate with colleagues to engage effectively with stakeholders in a variety of contexts and from diverse backgrounds
· Adapt communication style and approach when interacting with different stakeholders
· Apply knowledge of public and private financial management and/or treasury systems (where relevant) to strengthen the design and delivery of financial solutions.
