The Opportunity
The Operations Manager ensures that all operational aspects of the Primary Division of Avenues S茫o Paulo function smoothly and efficiently. S/he nurtures an operations culture that is relentlessly focused on high quality service and continually improving the experience of teachers and families. This role ensures that everything just works well. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is beginning the career in operations and is looking to grow with a rapidly scaling organization.
Responsibilities
Lead school operations
- Ensure the division is fully operational at the beginning of the school year and that all needs are met throughout the school year.
- Ensure that division systems are consistent, user-friendly and efficient.
- Develop and manage organizational systems for a wide range of kindergarten activities.
- Provide project management support to the division leadership.
- Key areas of ownership include arrival & dismissal, student list, purchasing, financial stewardship, facilities, and transportation.
Build Culture
- Build and nurture an operations culture that is relentlessly focused on high-quality service and improving the experience of teachers and families
Team management
- Effectively lead an Operations Coordinator while also working individually on projects to ensure the high quality. Coach and mentor team members. Be responsible for team performance.
Leverage shared services
- Builds strong relationships with the campus wide services team to ensure that all functions that work with the division (nursing, food service, extensions, security and facilities) result in high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
