Within the Mobility and Intelligent Transportation team, as a Transportation Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing transportation and traffic studies, transportation impact assessments;
- Provide transportation planning services for municipal, provincial agencies;
- Undertaking and reviewing active and public transportation studies;
- Conducting intersection analysis and operational reviews using Synchro and SIDRA.
- Participating in mobility modeling, simulation and static or dynamic analysis using tools such as AIMSUN, VISUM/VISSIM, and SynchroSim;
- Writing and coordinating the preparation of technical reports;
- Designing geometric reconfigurations of urban roads and intersections;
- Designing traffic signal systems;
- Designing bicycle lanes and dedicated bus lanes;
- Carrying out activities related to alignment studies and the preparation of geometry, marking, and signage plans;
- Representing the project team to the client to ensure that ongoing work meets their expectations.
