We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our team in Montreal East, Quebec, Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Reporting to the Inventory Planning and Stores Manager, the Supervisor oversees store operations and inventory logistics to ensure efficiency and profitability. He or she supervises and trains his or her team, maintains optimal inventory levels, meets deadlines, and ensures a high level of customer service.
What you will be responsible for:
- Supervise the work team to carry out various daily operational activities in the Laval and Montreal stores while ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop your team's skills on an ongoing basis.
- Motivate employees by promoting their engagement, development, and collaboration within the team.
- Empower employees to complete assigned tasks and achieve objectives
- Actively participate in the recruitment process and lead the onboarding process for new employees
- Ensure health and safety in the workplace as well as cleanliness and order.
- Implement the necessary measures to ensure environmental compliance
- Ensure the integrity and quality of receiving and shipping flows and manage related operational issues
- Oversee continuous improvement projects related to stores and inventory
- Participate with team members in cyclical inventory counts
- Review and ensure the quality of data compiled by your team
