We are looking for a versatile, qualified, and professional Class 1 Driver to join our transportation team at our Lévis, Québec site, from Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of metal materials to and from client sites and other AIM facilities.
What You Are Responsible For
Driving & Operating Heavy Vehicles
Drive and maneuver several types of heavy vehicles, including:
- 4âaxle Rollâoff trucks
- 12âwheel Rollâoff
- 12âwheel Lugger
- 4âaxle carcass trucks
- Carcass biâtrain
- 4âaxle dump trucks
- 4âaxle flatâbeds
- 4âaxle walkingâfloors
- 4âaxle liveâbottoms (beltâfloor trailers)
- Operating a variety of Class 1 utility vehicles to transport metal materials while ensuring compliance with road regulations and company policies
- Performing routine preâtrip and postâtrip inspections of the truck, ensuring it is in proper working condition
- Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck when required, using appropriate equipment, and secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transport
- Completing accurate and thorough logs of deliveries and any other required documentation
- Providing highâquality customer service
