We are actively looking for an Transport specialist Westbound (M/F) in Tetouan to take on the following responsibilities:
- Manage short-term planning and contribute to mid-term planning of vessels.
- Ensure sufficient storage capacity and manpower for loading and unloading of vessels at ports.
- Align with upstream contributors (plants, compounds, quality, rail/road) to ensure on-time departure.
- Track and trace shipments, updating schedules and ETAs as necessary, and proactively inform partners and markets about transport execution.
- Take necessary actions or measurements if delayed loading or arrival is foreseen, with mitigation tracking (especially during the landing period).
- Ensure compliance with regulations, including paperwork, customs, environmental, and governmental regulations and their updates.
- Drive LP and SP performance and continuous improvement action plans.
- Ensure maximum utilization of resources, including own chartered vessels, securing QCDPExx efficiency.
- Activate and follow up on damage and claim management.
- Ensure technological advancements (digitalization and automation of processes, new technology, and innovative solutions).
- Communicate with concerned stakeholders regarding blocked vehicles or other quality-related issues.
- Organize pre-carriage to the port by trains and trucks.
