Position Summary:
TheProducts Finance Business PartnerInternwillplay a key role supportingthe products (Medicaid,Long-Term Care, and Medicare) andproductstrategies. Thisinternshipoffers hands-on experience in financial analysis, strategydevelopment, and cross-functionalcollaboration, andisa unique opportunityto learn from and contribute to projects thatshapecorporatestrategy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding ofHealthfirstâsuniquebusinessmodel, with a focuson financial data and trendsÂ
Attend meetingswith cross-functional teams tolearnhow the Finance department supports operational decision-making
Assistin analyzing financial data related toall Healthfirstâsproductsandgainexperienceininterpretingmembership, cost,and revenuetrendstoidentifyimprovement opportunities
Minimum Qualifications:

Students currently enrolled as a Junior orâŻSenior in an accredited Bachelorâs degree program, or an accreditedMasterâsinHealthcare Administration,Math, Business, Statistics,Economics, Finance, Accounting,âŻor related programs
ProficiencyinSQL
Work experience with Microsoft Excel - pivot tables, formatting, sorting, formulas such asVLOOKUP
Self-motivated, creative problem solver who can work independently and collaborate throughstrong communicationand interpersonal skills
Experience managing projectsÂ
Knowledgeof Medicaid and Medicare programs
Knowledge of healthcare data (claims,diagnosisand procedure codes, etc.)

Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $40,200 - $54,570
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $34,900 - $52,000
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
