- Research and analyze the following information and reflect product planningÂ
- Trend of consumer preference of product (Pattern, Performance, Price etc)Â
- Trend of car/tire industry (Car type, Size, Performance etc)Â
- Competitorsâ products (Portfolio, Performance, # of size, Price etc)Â
- Draw and maintain product portfolio to launch new product in appropriate time considering sourcingÂ
- Prepare and manage PCP (Product Creation Process) to develop new product and extend sizeÂ
Product development with right performance and cost to meet customer/consumer expectationsÂ
- Communicate and discuss with related teams at ASIA, Europe and the associate companyÂ
- Set up and achieve the target of feature, performance, pattern, size and costÂ
- Organize and manage performance test of new products and benchmarking of competitors tiresÂ
Establish business plan based on market back information and customer/consumer expectationsÂ
- Set up unit sales and profit plan for new product and follow upÂ
- Lead and align with related teams, Finance, Pricing, Sales, Marketing and Supply chain to achieve business planÂ
- Lead Pricing manager to decide suitable list price to achieve target profitÂ
Manage and analyze statistics information of industryÂ
- Collect and analyze statistics car/tire industry and utilize for product planningÂ
Education & Certifications
Experience
- More than 5 years experience of product planning based on market & consumer needs.
- Experience of automotive related business
- Experience of English communication at work
- Experience of Japanese communication at work
- Experience of management more than 5 people
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skill both in Japanese.
- Moderate English ability especially Listening and Speaking.
- Knowledge about automotive industry, Tire, Sales and marketing.
- Lead related department, team members towards achieving business goals
