You provide timely, accurate, relevant, and value-adding accounting and financial information to stakeholders, complete closing, reporting, and reconciliation activities, and ensure the integrity of general ledger balances.
You ensure financial processes and controls are implemented across relevant business units and that proper business practices are consistently followed.
You focus on continuous process improvements and value-adding initiatives.
You ensure the accuracy of the general ledger by preparing intermediate to complex manual journal entries, executing closing tasks, and preparing and distributing periodic reports.
You prepare manual journal entries that require intermediate to complex analysis and computation.
You park/post manual journal entries in the ERP system.
You ensure costs and revenues are recorded in the correct period by performing financial analysis and applying proper accounting standards and procedures.
You perform regular clearing of general ledger accounts.
You prepare complex and high-risk periodic account reconciliations in accordance with policy requirements.
You investigate reconciling items and develop appropriate action plans.
You prepare and submit periodic financial and regulatory reports required for statutory reporting and management decision-making.
You regularly update the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure accuracy and relevance.
You provide accounting support to local business partners and non-finance departments (e.g., HR, Sales and Marketing, Procurement), especially for transactions involving complex accounting concepts.
You communicate effectively with various stakeholders and respond promptly to management queries related to financial results.
What We're Looking For:
You hold a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy.
You have 4–6 years of experience in a finance environment within a large corporate organization.
You have experience working in a Shared Service Center, BPO, or offshore migration setup.
You have hands-on experience with SAP and other ERP systems.
You demonstrate strong continuous improvement and project management skills.
You are highly proficient in various computer applications, including intermediate Excel skills.
You have excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
You can manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
You are amenable to working on a day-shift schedule.
