Introduction:
Asa Layout Engineer at GlobalFoundries Kolkata, you will work on gallium nitride and other power semiconductor technologies, contributing to custom p-cell development and layout of devices and circuits and supporting tapeout engineering work. We are looking for candidates with relevant work experienceand good programming skills.
Job role:
Manual and automated layouts of analog/power devices and circuits
Custom P-cell development
Collaborate cross-functionally with Tech-Development, Design, PDK, and Tapeout Teams
Document work progress through technical reports and presentations and to filepatentsÂ
Perform additional job-related tasks assigned by the direct manager
Other Responsibilities:âŻ
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:Â
Education:A bachelorâs or a masterâs degree in ECE or related fieldÂ
Work Experience:4-6 years of relevant industry experienceÂ
Expertise with layout tools(editor, DRC, PEX, and LVS)Â
Programming proficiencyfor p-cell development (SKILLcoding or equivalent)
Programming skills for layout automation
Good understanding of semiconductor technology and physical design EDA tools
Language Fluency - English (written and verbal)Â
