The CDL Wheelchair Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and caring non emergency medical transportation for clients traveling to hospitals, medical offices, and adult day programs. This role supports wheelchair dependent passengers and reflects our People First commitment, ensuring every ride is safe, respectful, and meaningful, because every ride matters.
As a CDL Wheelchair Driver, you will provide reliable, caring, and compliant transportation services while creating a positive experience for every rider.
Key responsibilities include:
⢠Safely transport clients to and from hospitals, doctorsā offices, and adult day care programs
⢠Assist wheelchair dependent passengers with boarding, securement, and unloading
⢠Operate vehicles in compliance with Federal, State, and local traffic laws
⢠Follow all company, client, and health and safety policies
⢠Maintain professional, respectful communication with riders, coworkers, and management
⢠Complete required background checks and drug testing as a condition of employmentā
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
⢠Minimum age of 21 years
⢠Valid Class A, B, or C CDL with passenger endorsement required
⢠CDL permits are not accepted, must hold a full CDL license
⢠Clean driving record and valid driverās license
⢠Ability to pass background check and drug test
⢠Dependable, safety focused, and respectful demeanor
⢠Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
