Job Description:
Weâre looking for an experienced EMEA Global Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team and support the execution of our Global Trade Compliance Program across Europe. In this role, you will ensure that cross-border shipments and trade operations meet U.S., EU, and local regulatory requirements while supporting business continuity and operational efficiency.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role offering the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, influence compliance practices across multiple sites, and contribute to a strong, risk-aware trade compliance culture.
Reporting to the EMEA Trade Compliance Operations Senior Manager, you will support the development and implementation of trade compliance policies, processes, and operational controls. Your work will help ensure that global trade activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with governmental laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:
Job Requirements (Mandatory)
3+ years of experience in import/export operations and/or global trade compliance roles.
Expertise in HS classification and countryâofâorigin determination for products in the medical, pharmaceutical, industrial, and automotive sectors.
Fluency in English and Finnish; additional languages are an advantage.
Nice to Have/ Preferred Qualifications (it is a plus)
Bachelorâs degree in Law or International Business (or equivalent).
Working knowledge of export regulations related to denied party screening, export licensing, trade sanctions and embargoes.
The EU Dual-Use Regulation (EU) 2021/821.
Background in freight forwarding or broker operations and/or experience as a licensed customs broker is highly desirable.
