TheManager of Laboratory Salesis responsible fordeveloping and executing new business concepts that generateadditionalrevenue streams for Cleveland Clinic Laboratories (CCL). This role supports Cleveland Clinicâs mission of putting patients first and delivering world-class care, while aligning with CCL leadership goals and strategic priorities.
This position leads theAnatomic Pathology (AP)andPhysician Officesales teamsâboth high-performing groups focused on expanding CCLâs reach and strengthening partnerships. The Manager will help guide sales opportunities through the full process, frominitialcontact to conversion, supporting andfacilitatingthe transition of accounts to Cleveland Clinic.
The role requires strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team toward achieving sales growth and service excellence. The Manager will regularlyaccompanysales representatives on client visits, providing support and fostering relationship development.
A caregiver in this position worksdays, 8:00amâ5:00pm. This position involves limited travel outside of Ohio. The Manager oversees business operations nationally and internationally.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:Â
Develop new concepts under the direction of the Medical Director, DivisionAdministrator,and Director of Sales and Outreach.
Train the sales managers on the product offerings and work with marketing to develop allthe materials neededfor the product launch.
Develop concepts which include a mix of co-marketed, co-branded opportunities as well as support and promote the expertise and reputation of Cleveland Clinic Laboratories and Cleveland Clinic.
Interact with all key internal and external stakeholders topull throughthe action plan for all new projects andultimately increaserevenue for CCL.
Contribute to sales meetings, presentations andattendrequired training courses, recognizing the value of one's own contribution to those events.
Develop andmaintainknowledge and experience of relevant laboratory methods and technologies.
Adhere to the Cleveland Clinic rules and regulations (i.e.written or implied) and any changes or introductions.
Travelapproximately 50% of the time.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Â
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Education, MedicalTechnologyor related field
Seven years of experience in a Healthcare environment withdemonstratedsuccess in sales,marketingor customer service
Excellent clinical knowledge in how laboratory tests support the diagnosis,prognosisand monitoring of patients with specific diseases
Excellent human relations, management,presentationand communications skills
Must be accountable, adaptable, flexible, creative, dependable,responsibleand able to perform well within multi-functional environments and becustomer-focused
Can manage several projects or tasks simultaneously andexerciseappropriate judgmentwhen prioritizing projects.
Can function and work in a diverse work environment whileadheringto Cleveland Clinic and CCL policies providing direction to clients in a concise, sensitive,informativeand professional manner.
Maintain a positive and courteous tone, particularly in adversarial discussions.
Keep abreast of regulatory issues, reimbursementissues,and service requirements.

Master'sDegree
3+ years of experience managing sales team with at least 10 direct reports
