Job Summary:
TheSales Representative â Specialty Medical Productsis accountable for portfolio expansion, strengthening customer relationships,leveragingGPOcontractsandprovidingin-service (technical,clinicaland educational) in the acute hospital setting to hospital customers. Our reps areviewed asa trusted advisortotheircustomers. This role not only requires an understanding of the clinical environment but must be able toidentifyand solve customer issues. This is a highlyclinicalsales role that reports intothe RegionSalesDirector, Specialty Medical Products.Our SpecialtyMedicalProductportfolio consists of Pneumatic Compression, Nutritional Delivery, Electrocardiography, and Sustainable Technologies Product Reprocessing.
Territory:Ideal candidate will reside in Utah or Southern, Idaho. Territory will also include Montana.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
Responsible for driving sales and achieving sales goals acrossSpecialtyportfolio within assigned geography
Identify, qualify, prepare, and execute effective sales strategies thatmaintainthe existing base of business and support the close of competitive and revenue growth opportunities
Lead territory opportunity development and activities that translate toaccuratemonthly, quarterly, and annual projections
Effectivelyutilizeand update sales tools to accurately address trends in existing base of business, create call strategies, and to manage territory and strategic business plans
Develop mastery of all products and sales applicationsÂ
Coordinate and collaborate with field sales, marketing & sales operations teams to drive incremental revenue and achieve target sales goals
Present proposals, negotiate pricing and effectively differentiate Cardinal HealthÂ
Complete conversions and in-servicing, which includesdemonstratingproduct applications,functionalityand use â (occasional night shifts)Â
Build consultative relationships with key customers andmaintainpositive working relationships with external business partners
Complete all administrative requirements ina timelyand comprehensive manner (expenses, compliance, CRM, as directed)Â
Educate buyers and promote Cardinalâs products through participation in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directedÂ
Meet andmaintainthe requirements of all key vendor credentialing entities
Maintain knowledge of the current industry / competitive landscapeincluding,GPOs, healthcare economics, reimbursement,competitorsand competitive products etc.Â
Foster productive relationships with Marketing, Customer Service, and other key internal stakeholder groups
Resolve customer complaintsin accordance withCompany policy, andadvisessales management promptly of any situation beyond authority
QualificationsÂ
Bachelorâs Degreeor relevant experiencepreferredÂ
Minimum of 5 - 7 years of documented outside sales success in a competitive, sophisticated environment (complex capital or tangible products including medical/surgical, copiers, payroll solutions, information)preferred
Medical Device industry experience preferredÂ
Excellent phone, written, and in-person communication skillsÂ
Key account development with experience accessing and developing key hospital decision-makers and influencers preferredÂ
A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States with a clean driving recordÂ
Ability to travel domestically and within region often involving overnight stays and stays up to one week in durationÂ
Ability to understand complex contracting and develop sound financial business case preferredÂ
Customer/Vendor credentialing isrequired(this may include vaccinations). More details will be provided if you are selected for an interview.Â
Anticipated pay range:$143,300 - $177,980 (includes targeted variable pay)Â
