We are seekingaResearcher / PMtoassistwith ouroriginal investment research and portfolio management. The role will involve the development of new investment strategies, portfolio construction, and model/portfolio management.

The successful candidate willpossessa passion for creative and critical thinking about financial marketsand financial problem solving,strong academic credentials, extensive empirical training,a willingness to learn, a collaborative mindset and a deep team-player spirit.Work experience in financial marketsand in quantitative data analysisis a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out original,implementablefinancialresearchthat forecastsdrivers of marketreturnsandaidsin building or improvingmultiassetportfolios.

• Develop alpha signals for trading baskets of stocks, bonds,commoditiesor alternative securities, either within an asset class or across asset class

• Build tools,dataanalyticsandvisualizationstofacilitateand/or improve portfolio management,researchand/or discussions around discretionary fundamental investing

• Implementoriginal financialinsightsinclient portfolios and models, using them todeliver investment performance that meets or exceeds clientexpectations;

• Remainup-to-dateon developments in global financial markets and economics.

Skillsand Requirements 

• Degree infinance,financial engineering, data science,economics,or accounting; advanced degree aplus;

• Strong technical and coding skills, including at least oneyearprograming in Python and experience working with large data sets.

• Creativity and capability to move ideas to implementable investmentinsights;

• Impeccable character with high ethical and quality standards, strong work ethic and focus on theteam;

• Proven ability to work independentlyand diligentlywith limited oversight;

• Confidence to crediblyrepresentthe firm and to champion new products/ideas internally;

• Passion forthe successful generation of disciplined investment out-performance;

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment where this is a premium on collegiality.
