A Manager, Engineering â IDR Sustaining and Maintenance plans and directs all aspects of development, maintenance and sustaining activities within their teams. This means that they ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives. They report into a Sr. Manager Engineering. They work closely with IDR Leadership, Product Management and the Security Services(S2) to ensure their teams are building what our customers and users need in a timely fashion. Managers have a large scope of leadership and can have multiple managers and/or leads reporting to them. Managers can also have specialized subject matter expertise within the technical areas their teams work in.
