As the Events Manager APAC, you will partner closely with Marketing, Policy, and Sales to drive event-led pipeline growth across the region. You will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of sponsored, co-hosted, and TRM-hosted events and webinars, while building scalable operational processes that increase efficiency, consistency, and measurable impact.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will ensure every event is aligned to commercial objectives, delivers quantifiable business outcomes, and continuously strengthens TRM’s regional events engine.
The impact you will have:
Own the full lifecycle of events and webinars across APAC — including planning, promotion, execution, reporting, and optimization — delivering memorable experiences for our customers and prospects that generate pipeline and elevate brand awareness.
Lead a high volume of primarily in-person events annually, ranging from executive roundtables to large-scale conferences, ensuring strong ROI and commercial alignment.
Integrate key marketing initiatives (e.g., TRM Academy, Leo Labs, and other priority campaigns) into event programming to amplify regional impact.
Identify and execute strategic co-marketing opportunities with partners and vendors that directly contribute to pipeline growth.
Scale and optimize event operations by refining workflows, standardizing documentation, tracking performance metrics, and implementing cross-regional learnings.
Partner closely with APAC stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality, strategically aligned events.
Drive execution with speed and precision — moving from concept to launch within weeks, iterating quickly, and managing last-minute changes without compromising standards.
What we’re looking for:
2–4+ years of experience in event marketing, with direct responsibility for event and campaign coordination, preferably within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment (fintech, compliance, or cybersecurity industry experience strongly preferred)
Prior experience at an events agency is a plus
Demonstrated experience owning and executing 50–70+ events annually, ranging from small, private executive roundtables to large-scale conferences, serving both public and private sector audiences
Proven ability to define event objectives aligned with broader marketing and business goals, including pipeline generation, revenue influence, and brand awareness
Strong project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams under tight deadlines, and excellent on-site problem-solving skills
Experience managing external vendors, including contract negotiation and budget oversight
Hands-on experience with Salesforce, HubSpot and Zapier (or comparable CRM and marketing automation platforms)
Experience planning and executing webinars and paid media campaigns is a plus
Willingness and ability to travel 1–2 times per month
Full professional proficiency in English
Korean and/or Japanese language proficiency is a plus
About the Team:
Our Marketing team plays a crucial role in expanding our global presence by driving brand awareness and pipeline generation through impactful campaigns and events. We operate at TRM Speed—meaning we move fast, prioritize impact, and continuously iterate. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-velocity environment where executing events in weeks rather than months is the norm, adapting quickly to last-minute changes, and ensuring events drive measurable business outcomes.
Learn about TRM Speed in this position:
Rapid event execution—launching and organizing events within weeks, not months.
Agile problem-solving—quickly adapting to last-minute changes like speaker cancellations or venue shifts while maintaining event objectives.
Driving event attendance—ensuring pre-defined registration goals are met to maximize impact.
Managing multiple timelines—identifying core tasks and dependencies in advance and work backwards to ensure successful outcomes. This makes it possible to deliver on several events sometimes taking place on the same day during peak season.
Fast post-event analysis—compiling and assessing attendee feedback and performance metrics within 24-48 hours post-event to refine future strategies.
We are building a safer world. That promise shows up in how we work every day.
TRM runs fast. Really fast. We’re a high‑velocity, high‑ownership team that expects clarity, follow‑through, and impact. People who thrive here are energized by hard problems, experimentation, and direct feedback. If something takes months elsewhere, it often ships here in days.
That pace isn’t for everyone. If you are optimizing primarily for consistent work-life balance, use the interview process to pressure-test fit. We want teammates who thrive here, not just survive here.
AI fluency is a baseline expectation at TRM.
We believe AI meaningfully changes how top performers operate. We expect every team member to use AI to accelerate and reimagine their craft, not just automate surface tasks.
At TRM, AI fluency means you are among the top 10 percent of operators in your function in how you apply AI to:
Accelerate repeatable workflows
Structure and solve problems
Improve output quality
Increase speed and leverage
You will be evaluated on applied AI fluency during the interview process.
We hire and grow against three leadership principles. They’re the standards for how we operate, treat each other, and make decisions.
Impact-Oriented Trailblazer: We put customers first and move with speed, focus, and adaptability. We treat every plan like an experiment – test, ship, measure, and iterate quickly.
Master Craftsperson: We care deeply about our craft. We balance speed with high standards, own outcomes end‑to‑end, and invest in getting better everyday.
Inspiring Colleague: We add clarity and energy, not noise. We bring humility, candor, and a one‑team mindset — giving and receiving feedback to make the team stronger.
This work has real stakes. Depending on your role at TRM, your week might look like:
Driving critical investigations that can’t wait for typical business hours.
Shipping products in days when others would schedule quarters.
Partnering with teams across time zones to deliver insights while the story is still unfolding.
Building new solutions from first principles when the playbook doesn’t yet exist.
