Strider Technologies delivers strategic intelligence that helps organizations make faster, more confident decisions in an increasingly complex global environment. Using cutting-edge AI and proprietary methodologies, we transform open-source data into actionable insights that help protect technology, talent, and supply chains from nation-state risks.
Strider is seeking a mission-driven Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to deliver cutting-edge technical solutions in dynamic, high-stakes environments. As a key member of our deployment team, you’ll bridge the gap between our advanced platform and real-world mission requirements—embedding with customers, engineering bespoke solutions, and serving as a trusted technical partner. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact national security and commercial innovation while helping shape Strider’s future product development. If you thrive on building in the field, solving critical problems, and working side-by-side with analysts and operators, we want to hear from you.
Key Qualifications
3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on full-stack or systems-level development.
Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages.
Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), APIs, and modern front-end frameworks.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deploy in fast-paced environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving mission contexts.
Willingness to travel 30–70% of the time based on mission requirements.
Active Level 3 security clearance or eligibility to obtain one strongly preferred.
